10.1.3. Removal and installation of the main cylinder

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of installation of the main cylinder are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.

Uncover under the dashboard at the left.

Disconnect a hose (14) and a tube (17) from the main cylinder (11), - try not to allow hits of hydraulic liquid on the painted body surfaces.

Disconnect the main cylinder (11) from an arm of pedal assembly (10).

Unhook a returnable spring (15).

Remove a lock ring (12).

Installation is made upside-down.

In conclusion check components of a hydraulic path for existence of signs of development of leaks, remove air traffic jams (see the Section Removal of Air from a hydraulic path of the drive of coupling).
