9.6. Removal and installation of the selector module

Details of installation of the selector module on release models till 31.08.99 (without function of consecutive switching of ranges of the movement)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On release models the selector module without function of consecutive switching of ranges of the movement is installed till 31.08.99. Details of installation of the module are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Disconnect draft of the drive of switching from the intermediate lever (97).
  3. Remove an insulating mat.
  4. Turn out 4 bolts (40).
  5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from sensors switches (S16/10 and S16/10s2) and the electromagnetic activator of blocking of switchings R/Ruble.
  6. Remove the selector module, check a condition of its sealing laying (39), - in case of need make replacement.
  7. Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of installation of sealing laying (39).
  8. In conclusion make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).

Details of installation of the electronic selector module on release models from 01.09.99 (with function of consecutive switching of ranges of the movement)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On release models the electronic selector module with function of consecutive switching of ranges of the movement is installed from 01.09.99 (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of safe operation). Details of installation of the module are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Disconnect draft of the drive of switching of AT from the intermediate lever (3).
  3. Remove the central console
  4. Remove an insulating mat.
  5. Wring out a lock uvula (1b), turn the socket (1s) on 90 ° in the direction specified by an arrow and, having pulled, disconnect a cable of blocking of EIS (1) from the selector module (N15/5)
  6. Turn out 3 bolts (2).
  7. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring (5).
  8. Remove the selector module (N15/5), check a condition of its sealing laying (4), - in case of need make replacement.
  9. Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of installation of sealing laying. At connection of a cable of blocking of EIS (1) track that the switch of ignition was in situation "0". Make sure of serviceability of functioning of the lock, - a selector lever conclusion from situation "P", it has to be resolved only at the squeezed-out pedal of a foot brake and in position "2" of the lock of ignition, extraction of a key from the lock has to be possible only in the selector lever family way "P".
  10. In conclusion make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
