Details of installation of bearing assembly of the transfer case

- Details of installation of bearing assembly of the transfer case are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove assembly of a planetary reducer (see the Section Removal and installation of assembly of a planetary reducer of interaxal differential of the transfer case).
- Having turned in the direction shown by an arrow, remove a lock ring (1).
- Having pulled up, remove assembly of the bearing with the holder (2).
- Carefully wash out all components, wipe with suede and dry compressed air.
- Installation is made upside-down.
- In conclusion check the transfer case for existence of signs of development of leaks.
