 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Illustrative material on replacement of an epiploon of a forward output shaft of the transfer case is presented on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Turn out a stopper (3) and merge oil from a case of the transfer case.
  3. Remove the transfer case (1) (see the Section Removal and installation of the transfer case) and fix it at the assembly stand (010) by means of a basic plate (020).
  4. Remove a back output flange (8) (see the Section Replacement of an Epiploon of an Output Flange of the Back Driveshaft).
  5. Turn out fixing bolts (6) and remove the servomotor (12) assembled with the RPM meter (7).
  6. Having pulled outside, take the RPM meter (7).
  7. Turn out bolts (5) and uncover (2).
  8. Having pulled outside, remove asterisks (13) assembled with a driving chain (13a).
  9. Remove a lock ring (14) and remove an output shaft of the drive of forward axis (16).

At removal of a lock ring hold a shaft not movably.

  1. Having hooked the suitable screw-driver, take an epiploon (17) of a forward output shaft from the landing nest and put new on its place, having used a suitable mandrel (030), - before a zastukivaniye of an epiploon record assembly of a planetary reducer (18) for the purpose of prevention of its loss.
  2. Establish into place a forward output shaft (16) and record it a lock ring (14), having tracked reliability of landing of the last in a reception flute.
  3. Establish assembly of the chain drive (13 and 13a).
  4. Priboltite a cover (2), previously having smoothed out the interfaced surfaces and having imposed suitable sealant.
  5. Install into place the servomotor (12) and the RPM meter (7), tighten fixing bolts (6).
  6. Establish a flange of the back driveshaft (see the Section Replacement of an Epiploon of an Output Flange of the Back Driveshaft).
  7. Fill in in the transfer case fresh oil to the level of the lower cut of a jellied/control opening.
  8. In conclusion start the engine and check the transfer case for existence of signs of development of leaks.
