Replacement of an epiploon of an entrance shaft of the transfer case

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Illustrative material on replacement of an epiploon of an entrance shaft of the transfer case is presented on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong. Remove the transfer case (1) (see the Section Removal and installation of the transfer case) and fix it at the assembly stand (010) by means of a basic plate (020). Having hooked the screw-driver, remove an epiploon of an entrance shaft, - try not to damage sealing surfaces of a pin of a shaft and a landing nest in a case. In order to avoid damage of a new epiploon wind a shlitsevy part of a pin of a shaft (3) with an insulating tape layer. By means of a suitable mandrel put a new epiploon on the regular place. Remove an insulating tape and install the transfer case on the car (see the Section Removal and installation of the transfer case). Check the level of the oil which is filled in in a box, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment, - the level of oil has to reach the lower cut of a control/jellied opening. In conclusion start the engine and check the transfer case for existence of signs of development of leaks.
