12.1.2. Removal, check and installation of forward shock-absorbers
Details of installation of the forward shock-absorber

Replacement of shock-absorbers should be made in pairs! |

In total самоконтрящиеся bolts and nuts are subject to replacement without fail! |
- Details of installation of forward shock-absorbers are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Release fixture of the top support of the shock-absorber.
- The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
- Remove forward wheels and loker of protection of wheel arches.
- Release a nut, take a fixing bolt (11u), disconnect the shock-absorber from the lower cross lever of a suspension bracket (4) and take it from under the car.
- Release a nut (11a) and remove components of the top damping knot (11a ÷ 11f).

Check

- Estimate a condition of components, replace the failed details.
|
Top (11s) and lower (11d) pillows differ on rigidity and have to be established strictly on the former places, - pillows are usually appropriately marked, or painted in different color: top - in white, lower - in yellow. Track also correctness of installation on the places of washers (11b, 11e and 11f). |
- Attentively study a condition of a rod of the piston of the shock-absorber, - in case of identification of deformations or signs of violation of smoothness of a piston stroke the shock-absorber is subject to replacement.
- Estimate a condition of the plug of the lower support of the shock-absorber.
- Make sure of lack of signs of development of external leaks.
- Replace the defective shock-absorber, - it is better in a set with the second.

Installation
Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
