4.4.10. Removal and installation of a final collector

Details of installation of a final collector of the engine of a series 111


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of a final collector of the engine of a series 111 are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Remove a lambda probe.
  3. Turn out fixing nuts and remove a final collector.
  4. Remove sealing laying of a final collector (156/3).
  5. Remove a basic arm of a final collector.

  6. Check a condition of fixing nuts, in case of need make replacement.
  7. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block of cylinders.
  8. Installation is made upside-down, - temporary fixing of NEW sealing laying can be provided by means of several dabs of sealant.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of final collectors of engines of series 112 and 113 are shown on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.

    Details of installation of the right final collector of the engine of a series 112 and 113

  2. Remove forward wheels.
  3. Remove loker and deflectors of protection of wheel arches.
  4. Turn out bolts (11/1) of fastening to a final collector of a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
  5. Release fixture of fixing of a reception pipe to a basic arm on a transmission case.
  6. Give fixing nuts (156/1) and remove a final collector (156).

Nuts of fastening of final collectors are subject to replacement without fail!

  1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block of cylinders.
  2. Installation is made upside-down, - do not forget to replace sealing laying (156/5).
