6.1.9. Removal and installation of assembly of the fuel pump with the fuel reserve sensor
Details of installation of assembly of the fuel pump with the fuel reserve sensor (all models)

- Details of installation of assembly of the fuel pump are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Empty the fuel tank (see the Section Depletion of the Fuel Tank).
- Having performed procedures of paragraphs with 2 on 6 Sections Depletion of the Fuel Tank, uncover (84) windows of access to assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of a reserve of fuel.
- Disunite the contact socket (shooter) of an electrical wiring of the fuel pump.
- Disconnect from pump assembly of the line of giving (90/12) and return (90/11) of fuel, at the corresponding complete set disconnect also a fuel-supply line of a stationary heater (90/13), - try not to allow bending of fuel-supply lines.

If the stationary heater is not established, do not make attempts to turn out the screw of the connecting union. |
- By means of a suitable key release a ring nut (89).
|
|
The ring nut is subject to replacement without fail. |
- Accurately take assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of a reserve of fuel (M3/B4) from a gasoline tank, - try not to bend the sensor float lever.

The pump with the sensor are united in the uniform, not subject to dismantling knot! |
- Installation is made upside-down, - oil a sealing element (89/2).
