12.3.13. Removal and installation of the lock of blocking of a steering column
Details of installation of the lock are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
Details of installation of the lock of blocking of a steering column
Removal

- Remove the cylinder of the lock (36) (see the Section Removal and installation of the cylinder of the lock of ignition).
- Remove a steering wheel (120) and a spiral contact drum (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel and a spiral contact drum of a steering column).
- Remove the combined understeering switch (S4) (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Separate the facing panel (88).
- Disunite the socket (a) of the contact switch (37q) of the adjusting lever (93).
- On models with AT remove the switching lock from the lock of a steering column, - squeeze latches and pull the lock back, removing it from fixing clamps.
- Having given forward, remove the transponder from the lock (c).
- In order to avoid damage of shlits of a steering shaft at knocking-out of a cylindrical pin (37s) screw a bolt (32s).
- Lower the adjusting lever (93) down.
- By means of a suitable drift beat out from castle assembly (37) a cylindrical pin (37s), - the lower directing pin will be put out of action.
- Having released a clamp, disunite the contact socket (b).
- Remove the lock (37).
- Remove the contact switch (37q).

Installation

- Connect the contact switch (37q) to the new lock (37).
- Put into place the socket (b), - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of a clamp.
- Put the new lock on a steering column, having tracked correctness of landing of assembly (arrow).
- Fill in the lock (37) a cylindrical pin (37s), - squeeze the top and lower sections of the lock nippers.
- Put into place the contact switch (32q), make sure of serviceability of its functioning.
- Turn out a bolt (32s).
- Put the transponder on the lock (37) (c).
- On models with AT connect the lock of switchings to the lock.
- Connect an electrical wiring (a) to the contact switch of the adjusting lever.
- Install the facing panel (88).
- Install the combined switch (S4).
- Install the spiral contact reel and a steering wheel (120) (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel and a spiral contact drum of a steering column).
- Install the cylinder of the lock (36) (see the Section Removal and installation of the cylinder of the lock of ignition).
- Record a steering column, having lifted the adjusting lever (93) up.
