Details of installation of the drive of forward screen wipers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of installation of the drive of screenwashes are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.

Make sure that brushes are stopped in parking situation and remove levers of screen wipers (1) (see the Section Removal and installation of levers of screen wipers).

Remove from a partition of a motive compartment a rubber sealant (2).

Release metal clamps (5), give nuts (4) and remove a foam insert.

Seal a hose of supply of the washing liquid on the control valve.

Uncover an air inlet (3) complete with the panel of a water reflector (6).

Uncover an air inlet.

Release nuts (7) and carefully remove the driving mechanism (8).

In case of need disconnect an electrical wiring (9) and remove an electric motor (M6/1).

Installation is made upside-down, - replace the failed sealing elements of a cover of an air inlet, before installation grease the upper edge of a cover and a surface of a windshield with soap solution.
