13.1.22. Removal and installation of door locks
Details of installation of elements of castle assembly of a forward door

- Details of installation of elements of castle assembly of a forward door are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove an internal upholstery of a door and a sealing film (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of door assemblies).
- Remove the external handle of a door and its bearing arm (see the Section Removal and installation of external handles of doors).
- Remove the directing trench of a window regulator (1).
- Turn out fixing screws (3).
- Disunite the contact socket (5) of an electrical wiring of an electric motor of the drive of the door activator (M14/5 or M14/6).
- Omit castle assembly (2) down and take it from a doorframe through a service window.
- Disconnect a driving cable (4).
- Installation is made upside-down, - the damaged sealing film should be replaced.

Back doors

- Details of installation of elements of castle assembly of a back door are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove an internal upholstery of a door and a sealing film (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of door assemblies).
- Remove the external handle of a door and its bearing arm (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of door assemblies).
- Completely close door glass.
- Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring (4).
- Turn out fixing screws (1) and accurately take castle assembly (2) through a service window (3) in a doorframe, - the directing trench of a window regulator should be allocated slightly forward for a lock transmission under it.
- Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of landing of the directing window regulator trench. The damaged sealing film should be replaced.

Back door

- Details of installation of elements of castle assembly of a door of a back are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove an internal upholstery of a door (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of door assemblies).
- Disconnect draft (3) from the door handle (6).
- On release models till 31.08.99 disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring (8) of the toggle-switch microswitch (S88/1).
- Remove the door lock (2) and the drummer (7), previously having marked position of the last.
- Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of landing of the drummer of the lock (7). In case of need adjust landing of a door in a body aperture (see Specifications).
