- Illustrative material on verification of the basic provision of a balancing shaft on engines of a series 628 is presented on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Uncover heads of cylinders.
- Remove assembly of the electric fan of the cooling system (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner).
- Turn out the lower bolt (3a) of a cover (3), - for the purpose of ensuring access to a bolt turn a bent shaft in the normal direction.
- Bring the piston of the first cylinder into the provision of VMT.
- Turn out the top bolt (3b) and uncover (3).
- Remove the centrifuge.
- Make sure that the natyazhitel (9) provides the required effort of a tension of a gas-distributing chain.
- Establish a cover (3) on a case and fix it by the top bolt (3b).
- Turn a bent shaft on two whole revolutions in the normal direction, again having brought the piston of the first cylinder into the provision of VMT.
- Again uncover (3).
- Make sure of correctness of basic installation of camshafts (see the Section Installation of Basic Position of Camshafts).
- Check correctness of basic installation of a balancing shaft which spring (5) has to hold the position shown in a picture, and marking (6) on an asterisk (7) to be slightly displaced concerning situation "for 12 hours".
- Working as it should be, the return to a dismantle order, install the being removed components on the places.
