Removal of a head of cylinders of the engine of a series 612

- Illustrative material on removal and installation of a head of cylinders of the engine of a series 612 is presented on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Open a cowl and record it in vertical position.
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the lower section of a noise isolation.
- Empty the cooling system (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
- Remove panels of finishing of a cover of a head of cylinders (1 and 2).
- Remove the air cleaner (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
- Disconnect hoses of a cooling path from the thermostat.
- Disconnect an inlet sleeve (4/2) from a turbocompressor (110).
- Disconnect a vacuum hose (3) of the vacuum block (110/10) of a turbocompressor (110).
- Remove a broad tank of the cooling system (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner) and, without disconnecting hoses, shift it aside.
- Remove nozzles (Y76).
- Uncover a head of cylinders (6).
- Turning a bent shaft in the normal direction, bring the engine into the provision of VMT of the piston of the first cylinder, - tags on bodies of camshafts and covers of bearings have to be combined (shooters).
- By means of special adaptation block a gear wreath of a flywheel.
- Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (4) (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
- Remove a forward cover (7) of a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of covers of the GRM drive).
- Remove the top guide of a chain (8) (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
- Remove camshafts (9 and 10) (see the Section Removal and installation of the GRM components).
- Remove a bed of camshafts (11).
- Remove an intermediate asterisk (24).
- Disconnect the pressure head line (19/1) from TNVD (19).
- Remove the returnable line laid between TNVD and the fuel highway.
- Remove TNVD (19).
- Disunite contact sockets of an electrical wiring on a head of cylinders.
- Remove the main fuel filter (70).
- Remove an airdistributing sleeve (110/1).
- Otboltite from a head of cylinders arms of the directing tubes (22 and 23).
- Disconnect primary catalytic converter (120/1) from a turbocompressor (110).
- Disconnect from a turbocompressor (11) an air sleeve (110/6) and a maslovozvratny tube (110/4).
- Turn out bolts (14) of fastening of a head of cylinders to a GRM drive cover.
- In stages release bolts (15) of fastening of a head.
- Turn out bolts (15) and check their state.
- Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders and carving openings in the block.
- Installation is made upside-down, - new sealing laying (18) keeps within on the surface of the block interfaced to a head. Track correctness of installation of the directing plugs (20).
- In conclusion start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks. Also make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).

- Remove an EGR system cooler.
- Uncover a head of cylinders.
- Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).

Right head
|
|
- Remove an inlet sleeve of a path of pressurization of air.
- Remove the lower sleeve of a path of pressurization of air.
- Remove an intermediate asterisk of TNVD (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
- Remove a bed of camshafts (see the Section Removal and installation of the GRM components).
- Release fixture and take away the right three-functional catalytic converter (TWC) back.
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from the right turbocompressor (1).
- Disconnect a maslovozvratny tube (2) from the right turbocompressor, - sealing elements of a tube are subject to replacement without fail.
- Remove a basic arm (3) of the right turbocompressor.

Left head
|
|
- Perform procedures of the previous order of performance adjusted for a binding of components to the head.
- Remove a casing of an oil filter.
- Mark the provision of a gas-distributing chain on an asterisk of the drive of camshafts.
- Remove a driving asterisk from a pin of the final camshaft.
- By means of a suitable extractor take pins of guides of a chain (4).
- Tie up guides (5) one to another.

Both heads
|
|
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from incandescence candles.
- Turn out bolts (6) of fastening of a head.
- In several stages weaken, then turn out bolts (7) of fastening of a head.
- Check a condition of bolts (7), in case of need make their replacement.
- Connect lifting chains (8) and by means of the winch remove a head from the block of cylinders.
- Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders and carving openings in the block.
- Installation is made upside-down, - new sealing laying (18) keeps within on the surface of the block interfaced to a head. Track correctness of installation of the directing plugs (20).
- In conclusion start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks. Also make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
