Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove panels of finishing of a cover of a head of cylinders.
  2. Remove nozzles (Y76).
  3. Uncover a head of cylinders (12).
  4. Turning a bent shaft in the normal direction, bring the engine into the provision of VMT of the piston of the first cylinder, - tags on bodies of camshafts and covers of bearings have to be combined (shooters).
  5. Block the inlet camshaft (2), having passed a special core (3) through a cover of the bearing and having entered it into an opening (A) of a driving gear wheel (5).
  6. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (10) (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
  7. Remove a forward cover of a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of covers of the GRM drive).
  8. Remove the top guide of a chain (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
  9. Mark the provision of a chain on an asterisk of the drive of camshafts (6).
  10. Otboltite an asterisk (6) also remove it from a pin of the final camshaft (1).
  11. Previously having marked, uncover bearings of camshafts (8).
  12. Carefully take camshafts (1 and 2) from a head of cylinders.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install camshafts on the regular places in a head of cylinders, - track observance of requirements of basic installation (see the Section Installation of Basic Position of Camshafts).
  2. Bring the engine into situation 30 ° before VMT of the piston of the first cylinder.
  3. Being verified with the marking put in the course of dismantle, establish to the place of a cover of bearings (8).
  4. Block the inlet camshaft (2) a core (3).
  5. Put a driving asterisk (6) on a pin of the final camshaft (1).
  6. Establish a natyazhitel of a chain (10).
  7. Make sure of observance of requirements of basic installation of camshafts (see the Section Installation of Basic Position of Camshafts).
  8. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders (12).
  9. Clean and establish nozzles (Y76) (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  10. Install panels of finishing of a cover of a head of cylinders.
  11. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks.
  12. In conclusion make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).

Face covers of camshafts

Details of installation of face covers of camshafts of diesel engines of series 612 and 628


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of face covers of camshafts are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Remove camshafts (1 and 2) (see above).
  3. Having hooked the suitable screw-driver, take a cover (3) from a face part of a back pin of the camshaft, - try not to damage walls of a landing nest.
  4. Clean and degrease a nest under installation of a cover.
  5. By means of a suitable mandrel put in a shaft pin a new face cover on the required depth.

Excessively deep landing of a cover can bring to oil supply blocking!

  1. Install camshafts in a head of cylinders (see above).

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the air distributor.
  2. Disconnect an inlet sleeve of a path of pressurization of air from a head of cylinders and a turbocompressor and wring out it aside.
  3. Uncover nozzles.
  4. Remove nozzles (Y76).
  5. Uncover (2) corresponding heads of cylinders.
  6. Remove bypass a sleeve of a path of pressurization of air.
  7. Remove the vacuum pump (4).
  8. Having turned a bent shaft in the normal direction, bring the engine into the provision of VMT of the piston of the first cylinder, - tags on bodies of camshafts and their covers have to be combined.
  9. Block the inlet camshaft (6), having passed a core (7) through a cover of the first bearing and having filled it in an opening (A) in a driving gear wheel (8).
  10. During the work on the right head, working through a window in a forward cover, put the holder on an asterisk of the drive of camshafts (10). On the left head the special holder fastens on a head of cylinders, is put on a driving asterisk (10) and fixed by bolts (14) of a cover of a head of cylinders.
  11. Separate a driving asterisk (10) from a pin of the final camshaft (12).
  12. Uncover (13) bearings of camshafts (6 and 12) and take the last of a head of cylinders, - an asterisk leave recorded in the holder.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lay camshafts on the regular places in a head of cylinders, - track observance of requirements of basic installation (see the Section Installation of Basic Position of Camshafts).
  2. Level camshafts on persistent bearings (shooter).
  3. By means of a core (7) block the inlet camshaft (6).
  4. Attach an asterisk (10) to a pin of a final shaft (12).
  5. Make sure of observance of requirements of basic installation (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
  6. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
  7. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks.
  8. In conclusion make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).

Face covers of camshafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  2. Remove camshafts (1 and 2) (see above).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of a bed of camshafts of the engine of a series 628 are shown on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Remove the air distributor.
  3. Remove camshafts (3a and 3b) (see above).
  4. Fix the pushers (5) valves equipped with hydrocompensators in the landing nests.

Alternatively pushers can be taken from a bed of shaft, however it is not necessary to use a magnet for this purpose, - magnetization of pushers is fraught with accumulation on them metal sawdust!

  1. Take a bed of camshafts (10).
  2. Installation is made upside-down.
  3. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks.
  4. In conclusion make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
